To give a fair representation of all CCWHA games and CCWHA series player performances there are five CCWHA Players of the Week. Each Player of the Week award encompasses all CCWHA games leading up to the announcement.

After each CCWHA SERIES (even if it is a one game series) each head coach nominates an offensive and defensive player from their OWN team. Each series should have four nominees. Each head coach emails the two nominees and a brief reason why they are being nominated to the CCWHA Player of the Week email address; POW@CCWHA.net and ccs the opposing head coach.

Nominations should be submitted by no later then midnight of the following Monday after the series. Nominations received after the cut-off date will not be considered for the CCWHA Player of the Week.

The Commissioner will look over the nominations and choose the CCWHA Players of the Week by Wednesday at noon. The final decision is then announced on the CCWHA website that evening.
